Body Movement and Public Speaking
One of the factors that makes a good presentation great…is body movement. I call it “The Dance.” Every great dancer will tell you that their body movement is telling a story just like a great story teller.
What is your body movement telling your audience? If you are speaking to five people in your living room or 5,000 at a convention center…we have to make sure our body movement is helping with our presentation.
We have to use our entire “instrument” (our body) during our presentation. We have to use stage movement, hand gestures and facial expressions to help convey the message we want our audience to receive.
In this article we will discuss how to use body movement to help make our presentations passionate, poised and presperous.
