Maurice DiMino & The Friday Funnies
I thought we needed a little humor in our week and to kick off the weekend. So…The Friday Funnies are back.
I love what John Pinette has to say about Italy, Italians and food and life in general in Italy. Watch past the France part and enjoy his trip to Italy.
Ciao,
Maurice
Funny stuff. Every Italian would know how that he probably didn’t embellish very much.
My Sicilian grandmother would keep giving me food long after I’d been saying I was full. It also never mattered if I’d just eaten. I was required to eat. I sure do miss her.
I brought a “Merdi-Gan” boyfriend to my aunt’s house for brunch. She kept putting food on his plate every time he cleaned it. He was so full and didn’t want any more and he begged me to tell her to stop. I finally clued him in that he needed to leave food on his plate. Then, of course, my aunt asked if he didn’t like his food.
There’s no winning at the dinner table.
Gina,
So true. Thank you for sharing your story about your Sicilian Grandmother and Aunt. I love it.
I am glad you enjoyed the video.
Ciao,
Maurice
Momma Mia!
The next time I walk into an Italian restaurant, I’m going to shout, “Sono affamato!” We’ll see what happens.
Thanks for the huge laughs
Joshua,
When you do…let me know what happens.
Ciao,
Maurice
